  • Bogalusa City School District Superintendent Willie “Toni” Breaux hosted a community forum on Thursday, May 9th at Bogalusa High School in the school’s auditorium. Superintendent Breaux and district leaders discussed the reconfiguration plan for the district, showcased local school talent and unveiled plans for the upcoming school year.   • EMPLOYMENT VACANCIES

    The Bogalusa City School System is accepting applications for the following positions:

    Data Clerk
    Secretary
    Receptionist
    Custodian
    Bus Driver

    Minimum qualifications for Data Clerk, Secretary, and Receptionist include: High School Diploma or GED, organizational skills, typing and computer skills, ability to maintain accurate records and communicate tactfully and effectively.

    Minimum qualifications for Custodian include: High School Diploma or GED, Use tools required in custodial and minor maintenance work, understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform moderately heavy manual work, establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

    Minimum qualifications for Bus Driver include: High School Diploma or GED, 21 years of age or older, valid Commercial’s Driver’s License, physical exam prior to the start of school, psychophysical exam prior to the start of school, record check (MVR) obtained from Dept. of Public Safety by Transportation Dept., Criminal Record check/fingerprinting through Central Office, 30 hours pre-service training and 10 hours behind the wheel training by Central Office.
