MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT
I am honored to be superintendent of Bogalusa School District and it is my privilege to welcome you back to school. A new school year is always filled with excitement and anticipation. It is a chance to renew our efforts to cultivate the ideas, intelligence, dreams and promises of our children. We hope to count on everyone inside and outside our education community to invest their time and resources to ensuring a quality education for every student. Together, we will work smarter and faster to focus our collective efforts on what works for the best interest of our children. The Louisiana Department of Education Accountability System provides nine critical goals to improve student achievement, attendance and dropout rates. Because we are accountable to the Louisiana Department of Education, we have adopted these critical goals as our own. These goals read as follows:
